mikuni needle jet replacement

Hay all
any one ever replace the needle jet in their VM? trying to push/pull it out of the carb body but obviously it isn't a screw in type of thing (unless i have missed that) so wondering the best way to avoid damaging any part

It pushes out from the bottom after removing the main jet. It's keyed, so don't try twisting it. It might be a little tight due to corrosion or fuel deposits.

Just changed mines after around 60K miles, needed a small tap and it came out! Ckeck your float valve as well, mine was worn also and gave me some problems on a recent 4000 mile trip through Europe
