I just fitted this RGM Luggage Rack to my Mk3. I gotta tell you that I am very happy with it. It turns out I really need one living in Colorado. I know you are worried about loop droop lol, buts its ok, I am just carrying waterproofs and basic tools.

Now off to fit a front mudguard flap.

Cheers

Good looking, functional piece of kit for sure , keep the rain gear on your bike and you will rarely need it !

Is the Corbin seat and cowl now on the shelf for good? That was a really great looking combo but I fully understand the need for greater carrying capacity.
How do you find the comfort of a good (new?) stock seat as compared with the Corbin?
The rack and stock seat combo also looks very nice. As cool as the Corbin was, I think I prefer the current stockish iteration of your bike.

Here I go kinda hijacking Jerry's thread but I can give you some first hand info on the seat comparison. In 2014 I attended the INOA rally in Ashland, Oregon. I took the two day scenic route of about 800 miles from Whidbey Island, WA to the rally site. I had a brand new stock seat. Not bad, but I didn't think that it was as good as my Corbin. My buddy came down in his van and I'd sent my Corbin with him. I put it on for the ride home which was a 700 mile-ish one day sprint. Much better. My butt, my opinion. The Corbin from then on.

Hi Glen,

I had the Corbin seat on my 850 like in the avatar photo. Really like it, but there are a few draw backs:

1) I can’t believe how heavy the tail part is. Its a huge lump of fibre glass. I never weighed it, but contributes to tire wear. It was useful to carry small things, but too small to carry leggings etc.

2) I have a pretty bad back. Even with roadster bars I was in pain with the Corbin due to being closer to the foot pegs if that makes any sense. For me it’s more comfortable with the stock seat. And I think it looks better. Its a question of taste. I used to love the look of the Corbin once.

I also took the Corbin seat off my 750 and replaced it with a stock one. Not sure if I’ll will ever use these Corbin seats again. They are like new. Perhaps I will sell them.

cheers

Looks great in stainless.

Looks good with the rack on there, and super clean bike. Its hard to keep mine clean on this side of the hill I can't believe the amount of bugs. I can ride up to Rico and back and can hardly see out the shield, and some of those bugs sound like rocks when they hit my helmet. lol

Thanks. Just ordered in one rack for the MK111 Interstate... To go to the N.Y. rally in July. Off to India shortly until spring. Will visit the Royal Enfield factory in Chennai as part of the experience.
