Has anyone purchased and installed any of the RGM grabrails or luggage racks for Commandos? I'm interested in whether they fit without a great deal of fiddling.

they are well made and fit well (I have 3 racks of his), but he has not spent much time sorting out a competitively priced courier for non UK addresses, so especially if you are buying other bits RGM will be cheaper overall.
I just fitted this RGM Luggage Rack to my Mk3. I gotta tell you that I am very happy with it. It turns out I really need one living in Colorado. I know you are worried about loop droop lol, buts its ok, I am just carrying waterproofs and basic tools. Now off to fit a front mudguard flap. Cheers

I just took a look at the stuff on his website
It does look good to me
I'm a fabricator by trade and I make my own racks ,but by the time you've bought the metal and consumables
Plus designed and made your own rack there seems no point after seeing these!
