However, here is a funny story. My ma worked in a doctors office shortly after we moved to Arizona in the late '70's. Arizona did and still does allow people to carry guns openly (now concealed, too) with no permits. So one day this big dude comes in to get his knee looked after and he has two big old pistols in belt holsters, boots, colors, the whole deal. My ma has never been one to mince words, so she asks this guy why he needs to wear guns in the much less wild west of the 1970's. His replay was on the lines of, Well lady, I ride a bike. I always hear about and know guys that got hit by cars and trucks on their bikes because the driver never saw them. Folks might not see my bike, but they sure see my guns and stay away from me.

She told me that after I moved to Arizona from Cali to stay with them for awhile. I had just gotten hit and run on a '70 Commando.

Haven't rode a bike in years because that spooked me. (And there are a lot of Arizona drivers that are really, really, really bad.) But I found a '74 Roadster basket case that I am slowly restoring. I may ask for advice from time to time here.

I suppose a Ruger .357 would be pretty loud...

I will carry concealed w/o a permit as a right of Americans and recognized as legal with away from home.

I seriously am planing spot light and bb machine gun on helmet and a rifle sling on Peel for some respect in traffic and shoo animals out the way that don't respect me.
Twin to quad paint ball canon should get some attention one way or another too.
Also a pole with flag and LED flashers like air boats use to be seen in head high saw grass before impacts. Ms Peel LED lights in front will mimic a predator's and will move up/dn like ruining legs impression and real similar evil face impression to get subconscious blind sight of drivers kicking in defensive reflexes to avoid. I check mirrors a whole bunch too when not at illegal rates. In the end biking could be the end of any of us no matter what.
