I had another red cattle dog in my younger days he was a good jumper and could jump high catching the old Frisbey he could do somer saults to catch it midair, he also like jumping on the back of the bike as well, here is a pic of him sitting on my old Triumph with me, he use to also hop up on top of my Land Cruiser ute roof while driving, some of the looks I use to get lol.
His name was Aussie a true blue Aussie dog and we were both red heads lol.
When I first went out with my wife he hated her and always got in between us but when our first child came along he changed and become very protected of her when she was pregnant and very protective of the baby when he was born, no one could get close to the pram when we were out walking.
I have had cattle dogs all my life, they are so good and tuff as nails, Aussie fell off the top of the ute roof once up in the tight twisties, didn't know he was missing till we got down the range, had to turn around and go back looking for him, lost him on the first corner we went around lol, should of seen him when he seen the ute come around the corner when we retraced our track lol, he was just sitting on the side of the road waiting for us, funny thing he never hopped on the roof after that, but he didn't get hurt or have a scratch on him as we weren't going slow when we lost him.
Cattle dogs can be very funny at times in what they get up too.
