I couldn't find a section on forum for selling or looking for parts. I hope I am not breaking any rules! I am just finishing up getting my 1970 750s Norton running. During the rebuilding process I lost the c shaped back clamps for both the choke lever and brake lever. I think it happened when I kicked over a bucket of carb cleaner and soaked a blanket I had laying on garage floor. I had been polishing some parts on it earlier. My Beautiful, loving, clean freak Wife grabbed the blanket and threw it in a dumpster. That sounds the the best explanation for the parts missing. It also takes the blame off me! We have torn the Garage, house and workshop apart several times looking. Anyway, I cannot find anywhere to buy just the back clampy things. I will buy the whole levers set-up if I have to, but I thought I would check with you guys first. I have been checking ebay regularly and even purchased a set of levers for a Triumph for 10 bucks...the clamps are the right size but the holes don't line up. Any ideas? Thanks in advance. Kem

I bought some specific early lever set parts from British Only in Garden City, MI for my 69/70 S. They seemed to have some NOS a while ago. You might have to call them. You might also try Walridge, sometimes Mike can find parts. I looked for 2 years to find my parts and luckily pieced together my old stuff, so it's like original.

Boy, don't you have to be careful not to throw out some small item you can't find.

I guess that worse than wife driving over parts left outside garage door by delivery guy. There is a want to buy or sell section if ya tag over head AccessNorton logo.

OH yeah You can get anything you want at Alice's Restaurant, 'cepting Alice and even that may by available at Baxter's Cycle's. http://www.baxtercycle.com/
They know what they got and what its worth of course.

A long time ago I built a custom timber framed home twice on the same foundation.? The homemoaner wanting to save money, decided to stain the trim, and one day left some oily rags somewhere. During the night they spontaneously combusted and burnt the place to the ground!! Blanket soaked with carb cleaner made me think. Just hoping everyone is careful with that kind of stuff.

I had the threads strip out of my brake lever on my 1970 "S". The Helicoil failed never had that happen so the upshot is I replaced it with a new unit. I can set you up with the extra back piece. Send me a PM. I will have to look in the Norton parts box I may also have an extra choke unit but on my 70 the front brake lever and choke were one unit.

The 69/70 brake had the air control integral and the bottom strap was a cast piece.

The clutch was cast on bottom and the top strap was more of just that, a strap, although sort of thick.
