Thanks for your work as moderator, glad to hear you're not leaving the forum. Your encyclopedic knowledge of all things Norton certainly helps everyone here. I've relied on it many times and you've never steered me wrong.

Thank you LES. Your dillegence as a moderator was excellent and Im sure a responsibility that added a few pounds to your life load. Congratulations on a job well done.

Dang. I figured with enough time, finally some day I would be able to pose a question Les couldn't answer. Never happened, and I guess, thank God because without those answers my own Norton would be a non-running garage exhibit. Thank you, Les, more than I can express. - BrianK

Yes thankyou very much Les for all your work and encyclopaedic knowledge. I particularly remember a question I asked about needle heights. Amal said one thing, manuals said another. And then you found a Norton technical note that said the third. Somewhat frustrating but very impressive knowledge base.

👍👍👍

Thanks for the kind words I don't intend to leave the forum I thought it time to give up the moderator's job.
After 20 years as a moderator on TriumphRat, I "cut back" as well. I know it can get tedious/tiring, but it definitely helps that this forum has been relatively cooperative!

Thanx for your consistent attention and assistance.

Glad you are staying around Les
You have been invaluable to me and everyone else on here
I can't imagine the hours you have put in moderating and it must have seemed a thankless task at times
Thanks again

In the short time that I have been a member Les has helped me immensely. Quick to reply with good advice and illustrations. Thank you Les and good luck.

Hopefully we can still access that wealth of Norton knowledge you have. Thanks for all of your work.

A very special thanks to Les

After 18 years of helping moderate Access Norton, Les has decided that the time has come for him to step back from his moderator role.

I want to personally thank Les for the enormous amount of time, care, patience, and good judgment he has given to this forum over the years. Eighteen years is an incredible commitment. He has helped me keep Access Norton running smoothly, kept discussions on track, welcomed members, and dealt with the behind the scenes work that most people never see.

Moderating a forum like this is not always easy. It takes fairness, consistency, experience, and a genuine care for the community. Les has given all of that, and more. His contribution has been invaluable, and I am very grateful for everything he has done for me and for Access Norton.

Les will, of course, remain a respected long time member of the forum, and I hope everyone will join me in thanking him for his many years of service.

For now, I will be handling the moderator duties myself. That said, in many ways all of us help moderate the forum by keeping an eye on things. Please let me know if you see anything weird, suspect, spammy, or out of place.

At some point I may look for another moderator to help out, ideally someone who has been around the forum for a long time and understands the community.

For now, please join me in giving Les a very sincere thank you for 18 years of outstanding help and dedication.

Thank you, Les. It has been very much appreciated,

Jerry
