A very special thanks to Les

After 18 years of helping moderate Access Norton, Les has decided that the time has come for him to step back from his moderator role.

I want to personally thank Les for the enormous amount of time, care, patience, and good judgment he has given to this forum over the years. Eighteen years is an incredible commitment. He has helped me keep Access Norton running smoothly, kept discussions on track, welcomed members, and dealt with the behind the scenes work that most people never see.

Moderating a forum like this is not always easy. It takes fairness, consistency, experience, and a genuine care for the community. Les has given all of that, and more. His contribution has been invaluable, and I am very grateful for everything he has done for me and for Access Norton.

Les will, of course, remain a respected long time member of the forum, and I hope everyone will join me in thanking him for his many years of service.

For now, I will be handling the moderator duties myself. That said, in many ways all of us help moderate the forum by keeping an eye on things. Please let me know if you see anything weird, suspect, spammy, or out of place.

At some point I may look for another moderator to help out, ideally someone who has been around the forum for a long time and understands the community.

For now, please join me in giving Les a very sincere thank you for 18 years of outstanding help and dedication.

Thank you, Les. It has been very much appreciated,

Jerry

It's a hard job being a moderator keeping all of us riff, raff under control, wouldn't be easy and you deserve a break for that job and good that you are sticking around, your a very knowledge person all things Norton/Commandos, anyway good luck Les, who ever takes on your shoe will need big feet to fill them, that's for sure, I wouldn't have the patients with all these Norton loonies on the loose.

Ashley from down under.

Thanks Les. I am administrator on another motorcycle forum and sometimes get involved in moderating so know it can be a difficult task. Well done for what you have done here.
