LED Turn Signal Bulbs Question

My 2013 Sport developed a crack around the rear indicator mount holes on the tail fairing so I made a bracket to brace the indicators - this stopped further cracking & guess what? - new bikes have this bracing piece as standard now
My November 2014 has this bracket and this runs all the way to the license plate holder . Guy's if your bike does not have this bracket you need to order and install it asap. Until now i did not know the older bikes did not have this bracket . !

I will do you one better and show it to you in the Euro4 drawings ! Look for #34 , this is a steel bracket and it incorporates the turn signal mounts as well.
LED Turn Signal Bulbs Question

I bought a cheap led flasher relay (independent of load) and although the indicators flashed at the correct rate the repeater lamp in the instruments stopped flashing. I am not 100% sure why this happened, so I just put original flasher relay back on and used resistors in parallel with the led indicators.

TonyA. Was that plate backer from Barnett? I couldn't find it on their site. Cna you list a link?

I just put my Barnett plate backing on today. (about 10 minutes ago, actually) Either drill the backer or drill the tidy. Either way, it doesn't line up well. I drilled the tidy. I only have about 3 inches of uncracked plate left. It's vibes and wind that cracked the plate.

Also, since we are on the subject of directional, one of mine broke and must have a short from hanging. So if one shorts, none work. Odd. Where are the connectors? Do I have to take out everything in the cowl or are they behind the tail light? I have the manual, but I just got back from my ride. I'm not too fussy about the signals. I'll probably just replace the broken one.

Take apart the turn signal shell then pull off the wires inside. Then pull them back through the fender. Now pull out the connector that is inside the grommet look under fender from rear wheel side . Unplug connector etc.. The plug is too big to fit through the fender holes . This is how I was shown and it work good.

Just my luck. (NOT) 4 to 6 week lead on the rear right signal. Left one is in stock. GRRRRR. Ordered my slack adjuster almost 2 months ago...tic toc tic toc. Meanwhile, my signal is just hanging there.

Tony, looks like your Wisc. plate is much smaller. Also, the backing plate, plate and tidy holes didn't line up. You have a CF tidy....I don't. Not a bit deal. I'm probably going to reregister the bike and get a new plate. Mines shot.

Try the triumph 1050 sprint ones Curtis,Steve aka “ the Lincolnshire poacher” gave me the heads up on this, the stems are flexible so they can take a knock,I've got a pair to put on mine ( used) should be readily available, genuine Triumph ones are same wiring as well as appearance ( apparently) have dig out my one s and post another pic,in mean time here we are

Bulbs are pretty standard - can be found in many “emergency bulb kits” - H/l, side, indicator etc ...
I have a triumph and the bulb can be found in any general auto store

I have installed British Customs (California) incandescent turn signal fixtures on both my Triumphs, BMW R9T and 961 Sport. Bolt right on. Had to buy LED bulbs from "Super Bright LED.com) for the Triumph bobber. Just have to replicate the OEM bulb wattage. Small tight close to home fixtures. Not in to the Buck Rogers look with jump out turn signals. Makes for a sexy butt on a Norton.
