My bike is currently at the factory being serviced - I know there is no risk of losing it 'cos it belongs to me but will there be an access problem getting it back? No email response from them yet. Anybody else in the same position?

Hi,

I’m in the same position, I would contact the administrators to claim your interest in any assets held at Donington . I think it’s BDO who are acting and contact is lee.causer@bdo.co.uk I believe. I would provide them with the full details ( reg number , colouretc ) , at least that is what I have done .

good luck !

Hi Clive,

As it happens, mine is there also and only spoke with Maria yesterday afternoon. Mine is ready for collection but my collection company "The Bike Movers" can't do it until the 10th Feb. I emailed Maria last night but no answer so I suspect maybe she's not in. I am not overly worried but I suppose I should try and call

Hi - any claims for bikes under warranty send an email with the subject "WARRANTY CLAIM" to administrators BDO at NMCOMMS@BDO.CO.UK

The site is secure with the administrators there.

Regards,
Clive

Just called, Justine answered and said she would get Marie to email me. If she tells me I should collect before the 10th, I will try and collect it myself soon as. She said best email Marie: marie.smart@nortonmotorcycles.com

As has been mentioned elsewhere, administrators are not really concerned with assets on site that don’t actually belong to the company so they don’t protect them as earnestly - hire a van and go get your bike!
Obviously a generalisation but better safe than sorry

Or track it around London like one owner has today. It should have been in Donnington. If your bike is there front up with the V5 and collect as soon as.

What’s that??? An owners bike is supposed to be at Donington but is being Moved around London?!

And what are they going to do? Their own note says they will consider the claims. If the staff are not getting paid, why would they go to work? There might be no one there to complete the warranty repairs.
I don’t think this mess has finished unraveling yet.

At this point , while not trying to “fan the flames” .... if my bike was on their location at this moment , I would be “shittin’ bricks” ..... that just me though , have been told I have trust issues ....

Even if the bike is located at the factory I would give a firm time to the administrators together with the phrase 'time is of the essence in this matter' by when you expect the bike to be made available. If the deadline is not met then report the bike stolen and the location it is being held.

Check with a solicitor first but do it quickly.

Hello mate i used a long wheel base Mercedes Sprinter to collect mine from the factory i have all the bike tie downs for transporting bikes they are on sale on eBay if you have to collect it

Is this a forum member? If it’s being tracked i’m Happy to be part of a mob handed recovery team. Only an hour for me
It had and Rf tracker fitted and he thought it was or had been at AN, he was going to contact the tracker company next.
Please tell me you fit RF trackers to bikes that cost this sort of money. You would know where your bike is then and not rely on the administrators who don't work for you to say it is secure.
