Is the stock 73 system single phase or 3 phase?

Trying to switch to Podtronics and need to know whether the stock system on a 73 is single or 3 phase. Thanks, Jim

FWIW single phase = two wires from the stator, three phase = three wires

Unless it's older [pre-commando] Lucas stuff. Then three wires may mean two single phase windings. Jim
