I have a 75 Commando with Pazon SureFire. Everyone says I need resistor plugs or wire. Bought the Iridium plugs (resistive) and my plug wires are suppressor type but from end to end including caps I have 2 ohms. Bike won't start. Put old plugs in (non-resistive) and bike starts first kick??

Is is not the resistance that is keeping the bike from starting. I would suggest normal resistor -non iridium plugs and set the gap at .025.
Iridium plugs are designed for use in a high temp turbocharged or emission control application with high powered ignition systems.
There is no benefit to running an iridium plug in a Norton and conventional [low power] electronic ignitions may have difficulty providing enough energy to make a good spark with an iridium plug. Jim

On my first Combat it was set so rich and or oil fouling It'd start miss firing on reglar plugs before I left the small town I got em in, put in the mulit electrode iridiums for the joys a few days later getting my drag strip tire fold up wheelie crash shot in '99. Iridium is supposed to last longer in race and daily drivers that are a terror to reach plugs. I use run of the mill NKG's in my current factory Combat no problemo even with some smoking habit on 1st start up, clears up and so do plug pulls. Just don't install any that collide. Once ya do find what works good, buy a V8 box of em.
