A friend has a stock Mk3 that cut out on him mid-ride this morning. The only thing electrical that would work was the brake light.
Got it home and he found that wiggling the underside of the RH warning light would give intermittent then full power.
I told him he's probably got a case of the green death - that wiggling the light was also wiggling the connectors. I suggested he methodically go through all the connectors applying some ACF50 (corrosion inhibitor for electrics).
Just checking here to see if there is such a thing as an intermittent fault on the actual light - anyone?
Cheers
