Interesting rear fender badge

Just thought i would share a pic of the rear fender badge on my Norton. Not sure how it got there as it is apparently not stock, but hoping maybe someone can shed some light on its origins.

Im not sure if its off an older or differnt Norton motorcycle or a different British vehicle altogether. (possibly a one-off piece??) I kinda like it so i think it'll stay on there

To me, it appears to be hand engraved. I agree that it looks cool!
