Instrument repair

Can anyone recommend a good restoration service for speedo & tach, at reasonable cost?

I would prefer Canada or USA, but will send anywhere.

Nisongers is only for Smiths instruments.

I used Palo Alto Speedometer for my Veglia tach and am very pleased with the repair. It performs well and cosmetically is perfect.

another place for speedo/tach repair

I just picked up my speedo (smiths on 75 Mark 3) a few days ago, from a little shop that does tachs and speedos for all kinds of European cars and bikes.

It's a small shop, no web site, just two guys an benches full of instruments and equipment. They had at least a dozen speedos from Nortons, BSAs and Triumphs in the queue when i was there - most of them shipped in for repair. It was very convenient for me, as it's just a few miles from where I live.

They charged me $71, and initial estimate was between $80- $120. They really seem to know their stuff, they've been doing this for a long time, and are straight-up guys.
