Installing a new detent, spring & index plunger housing I cant see that any form of washer or "O" ring is listed???
Recommendations please:- dry fit or sealant??

always fitted it by the manual NEVER had a problem

I use a 5/8 fibre washer - works great for me

So shouldn't one be listed in the parts?

Only the Mk3 detent has an O-ring and washer (although not illustrated on the parts drawing).

Non setting sealant on the threads then
