To have idle stabilization it has to be a digital l type ign. The standard boyer MK 4 , pazon sure fire are an analog type along with the rest of the low end priced unitsSounds like a really useful feature. Getting a stable low idle on a Commando with two Amal Concentrics when the bike or weather is hot or cold has always been a challenge. Does this feature work well? Do some brands of ignitions do better than others regarding this feature??
Russ. Concours on here has been fighting kickback issues with his altair like me with the boyer micro digital. What other components do you have in your ign? Mu next thing to try to cure my kickback is resistor wires along with the 5k capsI have it on a Pazon Altair. Idles like a clock and no dying while waiting at lights. Carbs are sleeved Amals.
No MM. In the area of 1000 rpm, when the idle falls it advances the timing to speed up. When the idle rises it retards the timing to slow the speed down. Plenty of curves to look at which demonstrate this.
