Title says it all. I need new bars. Nothing local except flat bars, which I don't really want. I would like something with a 2" rise if possible. I have scoured the net, but can't find a pic of anything. I have heard about and seen the K&N superbike bars, but I can't find an on-line dealer or even see a pic of the things so I can tell I actually want to buy them. This is frustrating. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Old Britts sells the UK bars. British Cycle in Nova Scotia probably does as well.

Thanks. I am specifically looking for the K&N models. I went to the K&N site and they don't have info on them, unless I'm completely missing something and didn't see them. I would love to see a picture of them so I can visualize in my head whether they will work or not. Thansk for comments thus far.

Hi Coco-
Take a look at "850 paint photo" a page back on the forum. The PO put a set of bars on it that he bought from the local "brand HD" custom shop. they were called superbike bars. they might be your K&N's. Nice bars. They are very, very close to the Euro Commando bars sold everywhere. I have a set of those that I bought from Domi years ago on the '72 Mutt Commando. Either one will get you the look that I believe you are after.
Congrats on your purchase!

Here's another angle that better shows the superbike bars-

Hope that helps. I believe they are a 2-1/2 inch rise, 29 inches end to end.

Clubman Bars - K & N, who were the main U.S. supplier of Clubman bars, no longer makes them. We now offer two fixed Clubman bars by Tommaselli plus their adjustable version and a fixed bar by Privateer. Spec's on all bars to be posted later. Call for details.

check w/ clubman, they have a good selection...

I just clicked an old link for the K & N site and it directed me to their new site.
NO handlebars. Their filter business has obviously taken over.

Clubman is a good source.
If you want several choices, click on this http://www.flandersco.com/ASRC_Handlebars.html

Wouldn't be surprised if they made them for K & N.

I guess since K&N doesn't make bars anymore, that is why I could not find any info. Flanders has what I need so I will give them a call. I checked with Clubman as well and they have a stock commando bar that would work too, but I am going to go with the Flanders D-25 model; 2.375" height, 5" pull back and a 29" width.

Old Britts has a similar pair with a 2" rise for $47.97 as opposed to the $80 for the Flanders bars. Any real difference in quality between these two brands? I assume the Old Britts are off shore made and not domestic?

Thanks for the suggestions people!

I found a nice pair of Tomaselli (sp?) bars locally for $30 CDN with a nice, low 2" rise. Unbelievable but true. I'll roll with these for a while and see what happens.

If anyone is interested, I have two sets of unused bars cluttering my garage. I would be willing to send them to anyone who wants them for $15 each to cover shipping and packaging. The first set are a very shallow set (some people call them the Euro bars) and the second is a set of "Vincent" bars, which are level, pulled by drag bars like those that came stock on Vincents. Email me at SPB@Bezlaw.com if interested.
