With local business sponsorship, Melbourne FL held a bike show titled: Bikes Of Days Gone By.

I didn't win

Entry was $15 - that got you a t-shirt, and some other trinkets like drink koozies and a frig magnet, both with artwork that matched the flyer.

Should be obvious - I didn't win the British bike competition - but an Norton (ES2) did. That's my 850 next to the winner. The Trident on the far side was very nice as well. I was easily in last place of the 3 pictured.

There were two other Nortons there, both entered in the cafe racer section. One seemed like a very nicely done Dunstall bike.

My phone takes exceptionally crappy photos, but if any turn out nice, I'll update this thread.

Didn't think to ask if any of the other entries were AccessNorton members (I'm a dummy).

The Riding Into History reps were there and tried to talk me into entering. Probably won't (but it does get me into the show for free if I enter...).

Sure beats hanging out in bars for a social life among strangers.

Your Norton looks pretty good to me, its not all about winning, but to share the joy of owning what you have.

The Dunstall Commando was likely Bob Gilbert - was he wearing an Isle of Man TT shirt? Anyway, he lives in Jupiter which isn't much more than an hour from Melbourne.

I'll likely go to Riding Into History, which is one of the best bike shows around. Only place outside of a museum where I saw a Brough Superior
