Hi there,
Wonderfull WE for me:

First:
I lowered the footrests by 3 inches and this allowed me to put both feets on the footrests and ride the Sunburst to the classic motorcycle show in my hometown.

Second:
At the show the Sunburst took the first place, best custom of the show, but the merit belongs to Kenny Cummings for 98%
My first impressions on the Sunburst:
Power: not like the 920 with big valves, but very close, thanks the lightweight Maney crankshaft the engine rev easily to 7.000 rpm, with less torque than the 920, but you still feel the Norton spirit, enough power to make me happy
Vibrations: none.
Sound: With the Maney 2 in 1 exhaust and going up and down the 5 gears, its like being Von Karajan with the Berliner Symphonic Orchestra, directing the 9 symphonie from Beethoven
Suspensions: The front fork with the Constentino internals are amazing and the shocks on the back are the same level of quality.
Frame: What can you expect from a Seeley Mk2 frame? exeptional roadholding of course.
Brakes: powerful, I may only change the front master cylinder for one with a smaller diameter to have more feeling in my fingers and a more progressive braking
E-start and clutch: a dream made by J.N. Gindrat

As you see I have all the reasons to be happy, and I am!!!
Thanks for your support
Yves

Hi Yves

Congratulations Looks like you are winning the recovery battle, amazing what good medicine and strong alcohol can do for a broken body;)

Best regards

Esme

Ahhh, Sunburst..

Glad you're on the road again Yves and enjoying your new dawn.

Cheers,

cliffa.

Congratulations, Yves. You should get a lot of happy miles out of that bike.

Ken

Well done. The Norty is a real beauty. The 9th is fitting to cruise to. I like the finale 4th movement 'On Schiller's Ode to Joy" for those special times. Used to have an old recording which had a mezzo soprano to die for. Klemperer conducting. It was stolen from me. Brought tears to my eyes like your Norton.

Bravo ,my friend ! your bike is beautifull, and you deserve all my respect for your tenacity , and again you make us happy, what else , just keep on and enjoy !

Nothing like a comeback or rebirth to lift the spirit. Something tells me the physical recovery will now be accelerating like Sunburst!
