I have been seeing info that the front motor mount needs to be resized for the new front Norvil Isolastic mount. Can anyone tell me what size it needs to be machined to? I cant seem to find anything on it.
Thx

not 100% sure but I think if you use MK3 Iso's in a pre MK3 mount, then you have to shorten the mount.

I just fitted some to mine. If you get p/n 066130 from Norvil you don't need to modify the housing.

Dean is correct ... I did mine several years ago ... no modification needed ...

Only those that buy them from Norvil, the tube is the wrong size, but the furry one says its ok so that's fine then NOT.

You will have to make some bushes to take up the slack, one on each side.

Yup ... heard all the stories but ... in this case if you have the correct kit for your model year it will fit with no modification ... I suspect Drummer is missing something simple and will sort it out with no mods

Thanks for all your input I am making bushes to take up the 50 thou variance between the bolt and the tube. Seems to me that this excess play will make a big difference. Looks like the front Iso will fit fine. Not sure why you would go to all the trouble replacing swing arm bushings and taking out all the play just to have this kind of variance on the rear end?
