Hinckley / Donington Triton project anyone ?

What would the advantages be vs a regular Triumph AC Bonnie?
Both the 961 and the 900 Bonnie are heavy bikes. The stock Bonnie isnt a terribly exciting bike but it's dead reliable.

Well, if one were to shoehorn an air-cooled Hinckley twin into a 961 chassis the advantage would be much better suspension and brakes.
And better aesthetics.
But having just the frame limits any potential benefits.
You would have to chase down premium components to finish off the bike.
The frame could be a starting point for a project bike though.
Anyone bored, need a project for the winter?

That bargain frame is what some would call a parts hanger. By the time you finish hanging parts on it you would have spent enough to buy a good 961 and an air cooled Triumph.

That could probably be said about a great many Tritons !
