can i use my own seat? i would like to get the bracket with the sissy bar if I can use my own seat. i don't need the handle bars . . how much do you want? if you don't want to septerate them

I'm not sure if the width of a standard seat will allow the sissy bar to co-exist, I'll measure it.

If it is any help the sissy bar should work with a roadster seat, I know because my seat was a Hi-rider, not nearly as nice as GP's and I tok the cover off, threw away the foam and cover, unzipped the Hi-Rider (banana seat rear appendage) it was spot welded to the standard Roadster base. Bought a new foam and Mk11 850 cover and converted the whole kit to Roadster. I have a bar available also ex Sydney if GP wants to keep his as a set?

Cheers Richard

I really would rather keep the set intact. I might still have the extra long throttle & clutch cables and front brake hose, I need to look.

I'd be a shame to break up the set for some future show off to buy.
There are countless plain to fancy sissy bars that can easy be made to fit as you like.
There are several types of tube clamps to hold sissy bar on, factory to HD catalog stuff in nice chrome and fancy allen screw fasteners. Likely a 'custom' one will fit and function for ya better than the HyRyder version. Some neat luggage racks have their own sissy bar, either fixed or adjustable-removable if ya keep and eye out for em.

Yes. the Hi-Rider sissy bar will fit w/ a stock Roadster seat.

Aesthetics aside, it is functional when traveling.
