Hi all
can anyone help with pictures of the cut out in the inner case as it would seem that it must be a large opening and that leaves a none sealable opening is that right.
as i do not want to make a mistake.

I won't say that it is hard to screw it up but it all relative to how close you want it to be. I am sorry I do not have a picture of mine and I do not want to take it apart.

I think the key is to get the belt adjustment as close as possible to begin with. Setting the inner on the center stud, eyeball and mark roughly where you need to cut. Stay to the inside of the lines and get an initial opening. Mark and grind, remark and grind. Those overlapping sanding wheels on an angle grinder will take off material as well as anything. Hacksaw blade and a mill file to finish. I am sure there are no 2 alike, some beter than others mine being somewhere in the middle fit and finish.

Patience and time will get it good. I am sure some have incorparate a rubber flap of some sort to keep some dust out. Perhaps a line of very small sheetmetal screws along the opening line to fasten strip in place. At least that is what I have imagined.

Take your time and take breaks.

Hi pete

You are more than welcome, Bryan. It's just a matter of procedure.

Remember this opening is really hidden and if you totally screw it up, there is alway 3 or 4 inners on ebay.
