I have ordered from Rocky Point before but am hung up this time trying to spend more money there. I want SS to hold Z plates to frame, but only find a $10.95 offering but not clear in just one bolt or a set per side on both sides. There is no online contact I can find, so hope someone can straighten me out or point me to contact method. This is site I think is correct but not like prior one I could work with.

Most of the stuff on there is a set, but may be set per side? The owner is on here send him a pm- roadscholar

The phone number is listed on the home page: http://www.rockypointcycle.com/ but to make it easy 978-212-5432, I am generally there between 10 AM and 4 PM EST, on good days I ride some. I am happy to accomodate changes in my kits or sell fasteners separately. I have UNF, BSC and BSW up to 9/16 in allen, philister, button head, hex head, cheese head and pan head as well as metric up to 14mm with a smaller range of head styles. I also have plenty of special ss parts such as overhead oilers, muffler mounts, caliper rebuild kits, axles, primary drive adjusters and cables galore. I offer forum members a 5% discount just for the asking. If you don't see a listing for what you want, do call or e-mail (sales@rockypointcycle.com). I generally ship the same day the order is received. Oh, and did I mention Mikuni carb kits? I have complete kits, component parts and rebuild kits; you'll find my prices amongst the lowest...

Having had numerous Nortons apart to maximum separation I know enough about them to hold an intelligent conversation and ám happy to help those joining the DIY club.

Steve, those bolts are standard 5/16-18 x 1 1/4 (UNC). I think I used 1 1/2 so I could get nylocks on them. The one that is right next to the frame tube (the bottom one) will have to be whacked a bit so it doesn't hit the tube. I suppose Bill's probably fit without any messing, don't know if they come with nylocks though I'm sure he will help you if you call.

Thanks for the response Bill, I could not find the home page with contact info.
i"ll give ya a ping for what I know I want and maybe some items I didn't know about needing.

Two items that might interest others are Al fork top bolts/caps and Al exhaust bolts-rings. I don't see those show up very often, only once each actually, but I'd much rather fall in the water with the Al variety in my pockets than steel.

The fasteners in question are 3/8-18 A2-70, and for anyone who gets a lot of "air" I'd suggest 3/8-24 A4-80

I don't know why I said 5/16-18, I must have been looking at the wrong list. Yes they are 3/8-24. Must be my oldtimers disease.

OK thread f0rm and size appreciated. Thinking three 5/16" should hold the loads and 1/2" foot peg bolt to keep up with Z plate robustness.

I noticed that, but I wasn't going to say anything until now that you mentioned it so I can look good.
