Hello, ...and a huge THANK YOU!

Hello to all,

i purchased my long term dream bike last fall. Since then I have been quite a voracious consumer of knowledge on this site. Many of you have posted your insights here, and for that I am forever grateful. After sitting for more than 32 years, I was able to get it running and sorted out. It is now a very AWESOME and reliable bike! It has 13,866 original miles.

A huge THANK YOU to Mat Rambow from CNW for helping me with the Crobin seat problem that I had with the original leather finish. When I took it to Bike Week this spring; it sure turned heads.

Too bad the "after" photo is so small, hard to see detail, but it does look good. DEFINITELY a striking "before & after" comparison!

Yeah ! .... very nice job , turned out great , I do have soft spot for '72 Combats ..... yours could be the twin to the one that lives with me .... sure hope you get lots of enjoyment out of that beauty
