After reading most of the rod end posts, I realized that the
top mount is offered by several vendors but I see nobody seems
to offer the rear or front. Not even drawings posted.
Am I wrong here ? Does somebody offer a setup? Seems likely
that they would sell. Id be interested.

No, there are front ones out there. Not common tho.

Rear is more difficult but can be done although no vendors offer them, yet. Read through hobot's posts, if you dare.

Bill T here on the forum (windy) makes the trick slip-on front mount steady (as well as top steadies).

Nobody has made a rear steady that allows use of centerstand and retains OEM oil filter access (yet).

The center stand is expendable. Access to the OF perhaps a bit more
important.
Im handy enough but dont have a proper shop and tools now,
so Id be interested in a kit or at least drawings so I could
farm it out.

Oil filter ain't hard to rod around, but a center stand would need
a notch or curved tube to clear a radius rod straddling
from rear frame bend to cradle side.

Didn't know anyone selling a front link, cool.
Here's how i did Ms Peel triplex linkage with Watt's like
linear motion in mind. if you do a rear link in one of its
few placements, let us know if vibes transmitted by
standard non cushioned rod ends.

norbsa on this forum (Greg Fauth ) should have some of my front rod kits and may have a headsteady also as I made a few over this winter for him.

Well if you wish to run up one for me or Mr Norbsa has a set
spare, let me know and we can talk.
Thanks...........

Yes, I have two in stock but they are for bikes being built. Three sets were sold before I could get them powder coated. A big load of bikes to build need more time and space and more me’s. In build line now two Commando’s, five BSA's, two triumph's, and a Messerschmitt. Than there's all the “kit stuff” just got 60 pair of front end kit rods machined and 50 new aluminum Rotors for E.I.'s and all the other special parts washers, tools.

Well then holler when you have kit available if you would be so kind!

I will take a front rod kit also, let me know if I need to pay for the pre-order now.

I am in Tennessee for the summer but hopefully can make some more this winter when I will be in Florida.
