Is there a shorter 2 position switch with the bat handle that will fit in the headlamp of my MKII? The stock one interferes with my LED bulb and it's a PITA to get the lens mounted.

Do you have a pilot light that you actually use? If not, can you simply remove it, bypass it, and plug the hole with a blind grommet? I have seen this done before.

I use the key as the light switch on mine.

Holden Vintage and Classics has Lucas styled switches with shorter switch bodies.

You also need to get a chrome plated Switch Bezel and a Threaded Washer

The threaded washer's step would need a portion filed away so that it will fit into a D-shaped hole.

I got one installed on my Norton and it has lasted a number of years so far. It seems like a nice quality switch.

Here is a comparison picture of an original Lucas switch next to the Holden switch. I also have the Holden switch bezel and threaded washer mounted on the switch. The switch itself is made by a company APEM.

I hope this is of some help,
