As it's nearly two years since they were announced, has anyone actually taken delivery of a V4 SS or RR ?

I don’t think so, there’d have been a big ‘fan fair’ if there had been any surely?

Have you ordered one?

Yer, would be really interested to know if anybody has taken delivery. Plus, would be cool to see some photos.

I had one on order for a long time, I should have had one of the first but gave up once it was a year overdue. I'm curious if it'll actually get produced.

Maybe they are so exclusive, the owners don't want to participate on a forum. Thought they were sold out. Somebody has to have one somewhere.

It’ll be worth waiting for. It’ll look awesome parked next to your Gullwing !

When I was at the Factory for my service in August, they were loading two customer bikes into a van - someone should have one, unless they were for dealers?

Doubt that. Unless for dealership set up and delivery. Those bikes are SOLD.

I doubt if anyone has one atm,the two loaded-in the van may of been off to a show/ promotion/here or abroad, there’s no mention on the DVLA website of a Norton V4 1200 for road tax purposes,& if the production of the 961 has been around 10 a week for last couple of years which I think can’t be far out. To make a lot of the V4,s will be taking a lot of labour/ man hours, they would have had to have a huge increase in staff ( skilled people that do loads of mech hands on metal stuff etc) The TT takes up time all year now especially the summer & with holidays etc, I can’t see that any V4 s have been delivered because of what I’ve mentioned, there also doing the 650 development to ,and as Nigel mentioned we surely would of seen some big trumpet affair as the first ones were delivered, Adam child at MCN is the only guy outside norton to ride one to.
There’s 200 SS & I think another 150 or 250 RR ones, they have to and sure they have to be perfectomundo b4 the first ones delivered, 2 guys take a week to build a 961 , gotta be longer for the V4 , my bet is on a heavily disguised V4 riding around the midlands with duck tape on & odd shape panels on to test & trial & put many many miles on it , 10% deposit was what was req when ordering I think , It will be ready when it’s ready I’m sure

My V4 has been on order for nearly two years now and I’ve not heard of anyone taking delivery yet. It has been a long time now but I would rather Norton get it right before they release it to the public.

So then about 3000 to 5000 down ?

Not sure about that guys, I’m pretty sure Clem told me that all that was required was a £500 deposit...

It must have been low, cos I remember having to SERIOUSLY fight the temptation...!

£500 , like the heady days of “ Docklands” property boom in late 90,s a lot of people were making money selling there deposits on for the right to buy that Penthouse riverside pad ,the developers didn’t like it & put a stop to it, I’m guessing u can’t do that with the Norton deposit, but shouldn’t be short of offers for someone to take ur place in the Q. 10% certainly on the 961 ,well it was , but yes £500 glad I didn’t know that
