Is there a spec somewhere for the rise and width of Commando bars as fitted by the factory? I had been running western bars that I'm pretty sure came with the bike when I bought it new, and replacements that I'm seeing are a good inch lower (see pic). I like the higher one better - but the bike fell down and they got bent :(

I have a pair of bars I'd sell you similar to the ones you like, that a friend insisted I try them 25 years ago. I put them on for a few days, then switched back to the shorties.

they measured:

width-30"
rise- 8"
pull back- 8"

I can load pics of them if you are interested in them. $25. plus shipping from seattle area...

I like those too. It should be possible to straighten them. You just need a vice, some soft jaws, a length of close fitting pipe and a nice flat work surface to measure them on.

Cheers,

cliffa.

Oh, and a ruler, or tape measure of course.

Stock bar is 31-1/2" wide. Rise only about 5". Pullback 8". This is measured from my stock '72 USA western bars. I think Norton bars are pretty unique because of the long ends needed for levers and switches.
