Can anyone tell me which handlebars would have been on my 1972 interstate when it left the showroom?
I have 28" x3 1/2" rise which I seem to remember being from Norvil, probably 06-5748, Simon at AN quoted 06-4132 (interstate europe) they are 31" x 3 3/4" rise and 5 1/2" pull back which seem more U.S. type in my mind, on the A.N. parts list these are only shown as an option for 1973 750/850 and not on the 1972 750 which gives options of 06-1046 and 06-4887. RGM and Norvil don't stock 06-4132.
thanks Paul.

I used the American style bar which I purchased from British Cycle Supply part # 06-1046 SS. They matched the originals perfectly. I am short so I used a pipe cutter and took off 2" from the ends. Nice riding position for short and long rides.

"HANDLEBAR - INTERSTATE (EUROPE) 063170" according to the 1972 parts book.

Thanks L.A.B., that number ain't showing much on Google, old Brits list the number but not the bars.

By [Edit]1974, things had apparently changed to: "06-1046 Handlebar USA", [Edit]06-4887, Europe" so no longer any specific handlebar for the Interstate.

[Edit] 06-5748, 1975- "Europe".
