Glad to hear it, others clearly are though. I don't require forgiveness thanks.

Just checked on ebay and there's 2, both SEs, one at £13,700 another at £17k or thereabouts,

The £13,700 (£13,750) one is the cheaper 961 Sport and is yet another "unwanted gift" 961 (must be more generous people out there than I thought?) offered for more than the factory price!

Up to now it would seem Mr Garner has only returned money paid in advance for bikes which were not supplied as agreed, under threat of legal action. Not completely sure that is the sort of thing which is good for customer relations, or suggestive of the fact he is someone buyers would want to deal with?

As I suspect like you I don't know Mr Garner so I guess he will be judged in due course by his actions. One thing I don't get is this whole put your money down first thing. Dreer did it and so have the present owners, call me old fashioned but there is no way I would part with money before my bike was even built. I believe you can have an escrow account which holds the money in some kind of no mans land until the goods are supplied, at very least I would have thought this would be a safer option. I do hope all those people who have put their money on the line get their bikes, I think they will.

They wont get their bikes or money back if Norton goes to wall like Garners other concerns have done................

Dreer took partial deposits, not full amount up front.

Garner seems to have come out the same mould that produced John De Lorean, which is perhaps a very good reason for not paying him any money up front?

More like the same mould as Del Boy Trotter!

But I think Garner's ex-Telecom van (which he started selling fireworks from-after getting sacked while working as a gamekeeper) probably had an extra wheel?

Yeah probably right............after all De Lorean was a serious crook having ripped off UK tapayers for £8 million, rather than the piffling £625,000 gifted to Garner!
