Dear All,
i am very happy my transmission goes very well after complete hand made rebuilding but ..... the GEARCHANGE INDICATOR dont moves!!! when i push the pedal.
I cannot understand if i mount it in wrong way, neither i understand if there is another mounting way!.
I hope in your sugestions.

my rear sets removed my indicator but IIRC the needle ring seats on outer shaft rim with a washer on top so lever bolt compressed it to move with outer shift shaft leaving proud center shaft free to pivot. Definitely helpful item after stops or stalls to know which way to snick for N and a glance down at lights before easing off clutch in N to wait and wait.
 
Yes, the indicator bolts to the ratchet plate, item 3, and works independent from the lever which is attached to the 'shift pawl carrier', item 10 here. http://www.oldbritts.com/1971_g6.html

It should look like this. Arrow is marking the ratchet plate end.
