Hi.
I'm used to the Commando which has a system that allows the gearbox to go back so pulling primary chain correctly.
The P11 has a tensioner adjuster who pushes the change forward.
The question is, how do you adjust the primary chain or to tighten it?.
Or am I missing something?.
Thank you.
Piero

The drive chain puts more pressure on the gearbox than the primary chain. The adjuster on the earlier gearboxes is set up to prevent the final drive from pulling the primary chain too tight.

On the commando, the adjuster encircles the top mounting bolt, preventing pulling and pushing.

I don't know, but I think the change was made because the Commando went to a different clutch and primary drive chain.

Hi Bill,
do you think tht is better to fit the crossover tensioner like Atlas/Commando?
Thanks
Piero
