You know I have run into many typos in the factory manual that I thought it would be best to ask what the correct amount of Gearbox oil we should be putting in.
The Manual says .9 US pints or 420cc....is this correct?
Thanks,
Eric

There is a level hole, I just add oil umtil it comes out the hole, never measured what goes in.

You can see the level hole bolt from the inside while the inspection cap is off. Fill slowly until the level reaches the bottom of the bolt. No need to remove the bolt and let oil dribble down the gearbox.

That sounds about right. My manual also says 14.4 fl oz if that is more convenient.
