Hi, bit of an obscure one this but has anybody discovered a way of renovating the solid Green blob on the 1969 Command S, David

fireflake, you don't list your whereabouts, but I just got my Green Blobs back from Joel Levine (Levine Instruments) and they are perfect.

He's done over 20 pairs for me, always perfect.

To get it clear: are we speaking of just the green globe on the dial or the whole instrument?

Hi rivera, sorry for the late reply. I have a set of gauges and am having a go at renovating them. The dial faces are good but on of the solid Green circles has a blemish and I'm looking for the correct colour Green to match up, cheers, David ( I live in Western Australia)

If you can afford it, buy the whole new face. I doubt if a blemish can be repaired unless you know a really good painter. The paint shops here have meters to read colors, perhaps you can get one to do it and make a matching color? It's still going to be hard to apply that to the old face.
