Correct Speedo and Tach gauges for a 1967 Atlas

Hi all,
When I purchased my 1967 Atlas project, it came with a Smiths speedo that runs up to 120 MPH and the tach runs up to 8000 rpm. Both have a gray circle with white stripes in the middle. I was going to restore both but it occurred to me that they might not be correct. So before I do, I thought I would check. Anybody know what is correct?
 
The Grey faced 120 mph speedo does not have a trip metre, the rev counter sounds correct, I'm sure somebody with the relevant smiths catalogue will chime in.
 
My -68 650SS has gray faced clocks. Atlas shall have same. Tacho RSM3003/00A. In a metric country so speedo is SSM 5001/01A, 190 Km/h. (118 mph). With trip meter.
Speedo still has tape IMPORTANT DO NOT PULL TRIP SHAFT DOWN ROTATE ONLY TO RE-SET-SNAP FIT
 
Unless NV changed the speedo for 1968 while Commando production was ramped up, the speedo they (and AMC) fitted to all 750's from 1964 onwards was SSM3001/00A, later /00B (120 mph) or SSM3001/01A, later /01B (190 kph).
For the 500SS and 650SS, SSM 3002/00 (120 mph) or SSM 3002/01 (190 kph) was fitted prior to 1966. SSM3002 was designed for fitment in the headlamp bucket. Later years had the same mounting and version as the 750's. Neither of the speedos have a trip meter, but this could be supplied on request. I believe the version suffix changed for the trip meter version, but I haven't detected the code.

All speedometers feature 1600 cable revs per mile. The appropriate speedo gearbox has a 2:1 ratio.

If one of these speedo clocks is in need of an overhaul, a trip meter kan be furnished.

Thanks. I have the gray face SSM 3001/00A 1600 speedo without a trip meter, so it sounds right. the Tack that I have says RSM 3003/00B and runs up to 8000RPM. Is the tack correct?

FYI; These people are Smiths. They bought the inventory. Informational web site. Great to work with and reasonable prices with fair trade-ins.
