And that’s the fundamental point with people like this, they never learn from their mistakes because they don’t recognise they made any. In their mind everything is always someone else’s fault, and they’re the victims, not those they’ve screwed.

Its a kind of financial psychopathic behaviour.

Its basically what Socrates was getting at when he said ‘man never knowingly does wrong’ meaning that people tend to justify their wrong doings, or simply block out / ignore it. And certainly ignore the consequences on others.

Garner is a case study in this phenomenon IMO.
 
Clearly MCN should stick to test rides, Not only are BDO going to recover their costs, as well the monies outstanding to Metro, I doubt the customers will get anything. The BDO costs alone now must be a few million, last time I looked it was over a million. The TVS deal was reported at 16M, now 14.1M, so what did they or are they going to end up paying.
 
Concurrent is the stupid system as it basically means feckall. Why is it the judicial system can’t get its act together and hand out punishments appropriate to the crime?

You are unjust. Poor little Stu is an uneducated, simple person- left school at 16- and did it totally selflessly in his desire to recreate a great British icon, helped by millions of Pounds from the British taxpayer and some old pensioners who most probably had no use for their pensions anyway. He did not know about those stupid regulations and how could he?

Now had he stolen a can of Coke in a supermarket he'd now no doubt be in jail!

I wish the judge had a parent who lost his/her pension in the scam.

SG was given a very lenient sentence that basically a slap on the wrists.
There should be widespread letters of complaint about the loss of 10 million pounds which he has either pocketed or lost. This by rights should not be over.
He transferred his assets into his wife's name, he has a farm in Africa which he cannot get to because his passport was confiscated.
His lawyer lied on his behalf in court.
He was warned three times about using the Norton staff pension money that was illegally invested in the company, untill the Pension Regulator stepped in.
He isn't as stupid or as broke as his lawyer claims him to be.

Someone named Rob commented that this was two despicable crimes, one by Gardner the other by the judge. The justice system is broken . Just like the people who's pensions were stolen.

His health began to deteriorate rapidly when well-intentioned but
overbearing regulations were set in place.. Reports of a 6-year-old boy
charged with sexual harassment for kissing a classmate; teens suspended from

school for using mouthwash after lunch; and a teacher fired for
reprimanding an unruly student, only worsened his condition.

Common Sense lost ground when parents attacked teachers for doing the job

that they themselves had failed to do in disciplining their unruly children.

It declined even further when schools were required to get parental consent

to administer sun lotion or an Aspirin to a student; but could not inform

parents when a student became pregnant and wanted to have an abortion.

Common Sense lost the will to live as the churches became businesses;
and criminals received better treatment than their victims.

Common Sense took a beating when you couldn't defend yourself from a
burglar in your own home and the burglar could sue you for assault.


Common Sense was preceded in death, by his parents, Truth and Trust, by
his wife, Discretion, by his daughter, Responsibility, and by his son, Reason.

He is survived by his 4 stepbrothers;

Not many attended his funeral because so few realized he was gone. If you still

remember him, pass this on. If not, join the majority and do nothing..
 
All is not lost yet, if just one complaint goes to the Attorney General 28 days after SG was sentenced, he/she will have to investigate on such a lenient sentence passed by the Judge.
So, don't sit on your bum, get writing!!!!!
