Fullauto delivers! The new head arrived today. It is a work of art, beautiful. Looking forward to building this up into something super fast.
I am off tomorrow to race at Mosport, I have a one weekend loan of an old race motor from one of Herb's 'museum' racers.
Thanks Fullauto !!

Who said Santa doesn't exist !?

Thanks for posting those pics,
don't often see anything that new....

Good Luck with the borrowed motor too.

At last I see one beautiful Head- my, and the majority of the Norton Original Heads, have a very poor finish

Bike is looking sharp Doug. Nice touch with the alloy tank.

Give me a call if interested in purchasing a Herb Becker spare as I have one that is race ready with carbs balanced for a Commando - thinning the herd a little bit.

Congrats Doug. Good to see the stars have lined up for you.
Please don't keep us in suspense you two!!!

Give us the details and digits of the Becker power plants. I love reading that stuff.

Man, I have seen these straight out of the foundry. It is a very high tech precision engineering business.

I really didn't expect to see this:
Fullauto delivers!

however....... sure can't argue about the price.

I dont think you would have seen it if you had payed full price!!.. A real good way to distribute a "cosmetically" flawed product that might otherwise be hard to move and get some positive acknowledgement.. Good on Fullauto...

"cosmetically flawed product"

Are you serious? Doug would have got this head if he'd paid or not.

Have a look at an original head and tell me about a "cosmetically flawed product".

If a head is flawed, it doesn't come to me. It gets scrapped. A few have gone this way.

Mine has a little mark like that but different location. It add character and individualises them.
I don't see it as a flaw, just a bespoke indication that a man and his tools, toiled over my head with his hands. It's AWESOME.
Picked mine up this morning, each time I look at it I just go faaaark.

The inlet cobra head ports are art.

Wow, chill out man. Sorry, but you have taken my comments the wrong way!. I was only trying to give you a pat on the back... We have a set of mixed messages here for some reason and im sorry about that, so I will now stay well away from making any more comments about your product..

Fullauto delivers!

Look, Chris, comment on my product all you like, but your message was clear. The head I gave to Doug was cosmetically flawed and if he'd paid, he would have got a "non cosmetically challenged" head. This is a completely incorrect statement. That's all. I have no problems with people making comments on my heads. As long as they are factual.

You know, it"s quite funny. Giving this head to Doug has caused a number of not so positive comments. I just don't get it. In actual fact I've given TWO heads to Doug. One with small ports that Herb Becker can work his magic on in the hope we can all learn something from the experience. I asked Doug not to mention the second head because of the mean spirited comments put out when I first offered the head to Doug.

No offence taken but I did have to correct you.

Never saw a blemish on my Fullauto head. Then again, I bolted it on straight away and went out and won a national championship with it.

Thanks Ken.

That head is a piece of fine art.

+ 5 to Fullauto for his generosity & support of the Norton community.

You know that 99.99% perfect head cost as much to manufacture as a 100% perfect head.

Also +1 to Doug for sharing his good fortune

Lastly -1 for all calling sour grapes
