2000 then 3000 grit wet and dry in the lathe will make a huge difference to the surface finish it wont even make them dull it will just get shiny-er, then finish with some hi fin like compound or just autosol . your seals will love it .
Sunday, I rode some very small, windy mountain roads, with horrid broken pavement, at "extremely spirited" pace, the Cosentino & Lansdownes coming together for really good compliance.
Oh I thought earlier post meant you had the Cosentino damper units in (over a grand USD)
but the Lansdownes are much cheaper. Guess your chosen combination is cost effective.

It would be interesting to have someone do a comparison ride. I have the Lansdownes, they
do make a difference. My Enfield has a stock Norton front end, it is not nearly as plush a ride.
Probably a safe bet that the Cosentinos would be a noticeable increase in comfort and ride.
