Slowly but surely cranking down more and more on slowing up. Getting more used to the squeal and Trixie's stability. Good thing as got to use it for real twice today, once on hwy 65-10, once in town 30-0. What I'm running into are Roadholders bouncing to shudder-staccato squeal-chirp the front grip till below 30's then just pulls right down w/o lock up, so far. This is new phenomena to me to watch out for so will explore further. Best pull downs so far uses rear brake too. Not very pleased with brake grip of 100x90 tyre. Don't get much fork dive to matter thank goodness but forks sort of kick back on hard brake till the axle end oscillates back/forth sounding almost like ABS cycling. So besides the lumpy cornering jossles, rebound control has a lot to do with front brake bite. Wonder how gear lube may work in factory forks in the summer temps? Otherwise just another ride in paradise on a mission to bring a good load home.
