gents, of course somewhere listed there is the diameter of the upper fork tube, but maybe someone can save me the time and let me know. I am interested in fitting clip ons and a new head lamp bracket, so I need this info.
thanks in advance,
Rick

Stanchion O/D = 1.3589/1.3574 inches (34.518mm/34.480mm).

LAB,
so does that mean I need a 34mm or 35mm bracket/clip on?
Rick
PS....thanks for the quick reply :D

= 34.5mm!

Depends on the type I suppose?
Many types are just a split tube clamp with lugs and bolts to pull them up tight, others could be machined especially to fit?
So maybe worth asking the supplier?

Update

The split tube type advertised by RGM are described as "35mm".

Be a bit careful here, you won't be able for instance to get Tommasellis with alloy fittings to clamp properly, although chromed steel cheaper types will. The clamps will be a bit overtightened though.
