Congratulations.
Third kick.
I know!!! they always say third times the charm! Im very exited and next step is rebuilding the carbs , then doing the brakes!

Actual time into it in the three months is probably a couple hours. School and other circumstances have limited his time.
This bike is an example of being better than it looks so far. It has the usual clogged pilots and the wiring is a rats nest.
It needs years of grime cleaned off and the last polish it saw was many years back.
A few hundered bucks and a lot of labor will improve things greatly on this bike.

Good job Cookie! Wanna come over and start my Harley?

Oh, wait, it has a push button.

Why would you want to push a button if you can keep your Anterior Cruciate Ligament and gluts in good shape.

Dave

Nice.
I can't believe the size of your garages over there. Most of us in the UK have tiny garages with just enough room for a car, except most of us leave them outside for fear of not being able to get out of them if we park them in there.

Congratulations!!!!

Now if I can only get my 71 (which always starts on the 1st to 2nd kick) to not smoke when he fires up.... (more on that in another posting!)

That pretty much describes my garage, I'm envious too.

Of course when those garages were built there was plenty of room on either side of the Austin 7.

I have to leave one car at work with seven bikes of my own and the kid's one. Take a look at his Amals.

A special model from Amal called Pick-Your-Jet. What you did is guess which hole worked the best and then plugged up the rest. With bubble gum. :|

If they don't leak to anywhere they'll just could additional turbulence and promote better fuel atomization. Really.
