Country flag
I was doing some things to my race bike in the trailer and found a new in box mini video camera I had bought when we all had to buy electronic transponders for timing the last few years I was racing (It was offered at a then low price with the transponder). I had intended to mount this little camera on the TD-3, but I never got around to it. I did a video with the Guzzi and posted the You Tube link on the Moto Guzzi forum I am a member of. Decided to do one with the Norton. They are both crude, the Norton one is also louder with more wind noise, not having a streamlined fairing, that is not having a faring at all!

Yes Yellow is good too. The trees over head and sun patches was mezmerizing. Music was a neat flash back mood elevator too. How did you put a sound track on? Good sense of ain to w/o a view finder, cool

I have no problem with yellow. Upper Marlboro, eh? My avatar is taken in Greenbelt, but that's a long time ago. If you want some country riding come down here. No traffic nor stop lights, signs, and a few curves.

Putting a soundtrack on a video is a feature of Windows Movie Maker which comes with Windows 7. Took me a while to figure it out though.

I went north on that ride. Had I gone south it would have been as "country" as Hume Virginia. You know the difference between northern and southern maryland, having lived here. Upper Marlboro is more or less the border between the two Marylands.

Ok thanx my version has crashed, so far no fix, but I bet youtube has this feature. I want to figure out a helmet mount that lets me get a heads up view finder not blocking my view. Then could dampen the vibes and scan around the clocks to scenery a few seconds, with danger alarms going off to put path back in view. Play with different view point mounts. Race shcools put camera on a boom out and behind pilot that show his actions and where hes going.

This old kit I have has curved adhesive attachments made to put on a helmet. I just thought they were a little silly having a camera on a helmet.

I've been all over that area in MD. It's nothing like around here. We don't even have stripes on the roads. But yeah, the rides to St. Mary's are not bad. Still a lot of traffic though. I can drive around here and maybe meet 3 cars in 50 miles, and a few bears. The turkeys are living in our pasture this summer.

Southern MD is not bad though, but no hills. I can be in the Blue Ridge hills as fast as I go down my drive.

Don't get me wrong, I liked MD, it's just the taxes ran me out and the wife wanted land and horses. And that works here.

It's ok. I like Maryland, you like Virginia. No problem. I raced quite a bit at VIR in Danville, Virginia. My second favorite track after Summit Point in West Virginia.

Believe me, there are certain things I don't like about Virginia.
