Hello:

Does anybody know how to take the filler cap off the tank? I've tried to do it just pushing with another pin and tappin on it with a little hammer with no results at all.

That should have worked, what diameter is the pin you are using, it needs to be small.

It's probably too big... I'll try with a thinner one.

I've found that a straight pull wheel spoke (early Triumph) works pretty well. Be careful not to slip and mar your paint job. (DAMHIK)

I have used a 1/8" diameter flat ended pin punch. The pivot pin should be a roll pin so don't use any pointed tool.
