Fear of poverty ?

??? Maybe not everybody Al, but I know one thing for sure, the hippy chicks I knew were never that cute.

Is it true they didn't bath all that much?
I was born in 1955, so I just missed being old enough to hang out with the summer of love hippies. The ones I knew weren’t all that into the movement, and most still lived at home, close to a shower.

Why do I have to sign in to watch it, I watch a bit of Youtube without signing in, Al needs to get out more, but then old age catches up with you and the TV or computer or mobile phone is your only escape.
How many hippies stay being hippies they do grow out of it, well most do and come back to earth to reality, its hard work to live the lifestyle.
Visit Nimbin the weed and hippie town of Aus.

I watched about 8 seconds...thank you all for the reviews that confirmed my suspicions

I suggest it is very strange how our thinking has changed. One of my mates was the first Australian soldier killed in the Vietnam war, We lost 592, and the Yanks lost 60,000. I find it very difficult to put things into perspective. The kids did the hippy thing - it did nothing but bemuse people. But here we are 45 years later struggling with cost of living and housing crises. I knew a few guys who fought in WW2. A couple of them said 'prewar we had the depression and austerity - the war came and money came from nowhere'.
