Maybe I'm not just a normal shape - there is a chance of that as I am totally comfortable on a 961CR with clip-ons - but I find most helmets don't give me enough upwards visibility. I am a big fan of X-Lite which has a 'tilt' adjustment but I still find myself straining to look up at anything above road height........ Open-face is the best option for me.

We’ve discussed the new logos briefly and the guys over on FB are just about to comment - pretty sure what their response will be!

Understandable wish to modernise a whole host of elements of Norton’s business (incl the bikes), but I’m struggling with the decision to change a logo that has been so recognisable (and iconic) in its current form since 1913!

If you’re gonna lean so heavily on the marques history (and justifiably so) why change the only recognisable element that binds them to it! Just don’t get it.

Anybody like them for anything other than a future electric variant?

Designing, engineering, and producing new motorcycles is a difficult enough business.
My humble advice to Norton on revising their logo is, if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
A vintage badge like Norton's is a wonderful way to separate their product from the rest of the two wheel fare.

I personally never cared for this version of logo.

If the new logos are that ugly, I’m worried what those so called new bike will look like. Even if the bikes look good, that new logo is hideous

From Karl (FB) - 2015 Commmando. Other reports of similar degradation. Worth checking if ya own an earlier 961.

8mm ID fuel line. Might be a good time to upgrade the fuel spigot/connector.

From FB (Al).

I was going to have my bike suspension set up by a local specialist before I fitted the carbon wheels. Handling felt so improved I did’nt bother. Will do it at some stage though.

If I were in the UK (on a std 961), I’d be doing this in a heartbeat. Fully adjustable suspension on standard settings; whatever they might be? Unless ya can work out the wizardry yourself; I’m guessing most will leave the bike as it came from the factory.

Looks like a well known abrasive brand logo, the N could be for Nimbus, or I suspect any other motorcycle beginning with a letter N from the old days. I wonder how much money has been spent on this pointless branding project.

Coming up with a new logo indicates, to me anyway, that they are clueless about their customers. Expect a new “mission statement “ next.

I’m certain everyone knows of companies who have changed their product identity/name and customers, thinking that they have gone out of business or stopped making their favourite product, go and buy something else.

Perhaps I misjudge them and they want to disassociate the original Norton name from the coming range of Indian bikes?

No need for the ‘Suspension Whisperer’, this ain’t no track scalpel!🙃

This lot will do; did a great job with my other bikes.
