If you are going to use the 850 exhaust lock rings (nuts) then you must use the collets. They take up the extra depth. In both cases you will need the corrugated crush washers (063995) between the pipe flange and the head. (Unless the bike is a Mk3 or has been converted to the "belled end" pipes. These have a bevelled exhaust seat placed in the head, a bevelled seating flange on the pipe, and the collets are also bevelled. You cannot use these with flat flanged pipes.)
If you are using 750 lock rings, you simply need the corrugated crush washers.
