Electronic Ignitions

I am not saying Boyers always kick back, just there is no provision to prevent it on the Boyer. Even the stock points will kick back because at their most retarded position they still have a bit of advance, nothing a mighty kick will not overcome on either the Boyer or stock points, but sometimes, just sometimes, that mighty kick may not be mighty enough and your starter leg could bear the brunt of that fine motor refusing to wake up on a cold morning.

I only changed to the Tri Spark for easier starting. In my use the Boyer was probably not being correctly treated and was prone to kick back. I don't use the Norton often as it is still at the stage where every time I take it any distance I break something, and it is uncomfortable for every day use.
If the Boyer is giving you good service you won't notice a lot of difference with another electronic ignition.

I will map the Sachse I have, but from what I have seen so far, it seems to follow the curves (all 9 of them) posted on their web site.

Good job, Ludwig. Looks better to me already. Thanks for sharing the results from your work. You'd think that Tri-Spark would post that information on their website.

Thanks, again.
