I'm trying to find the smallest possible coil/s for my T140 project. I'm getting wildly conflicting views from all sorts of sources, so I'm hoping people on this forum might be able to help.
A couple of T140 owners tell me they're using the Dyna DC6-1 coils on their bikes, using points ignition (as I intend to), and they work fine. The DC1-3 is smaller, so I'm hoping that, as this is also 3 Ohm primary resistance, it will be equally useable. But I can't find anyone who is using, or has used one.
The Dynatek tech support isn't much help: they say the DC6-1 wont work and I need to buy two DC10-1s, which are 5 Ohm with single outputs. This would defeat the whole object, which is to save space as much as possible.
If anyone out there knows whether I can use DC1-3s or not, I'd be very glad to hear, thanks.
